This is how RAPID TRANSIT began.
Problem: The need for an affordable cool water therapy pool. Water therapy in a cool pool lowers the body's core temperature allowing better nerve signal conduction. For people with MS the benefit lasts for hours. Unfortunately, public therapy pools are kept warm, about 94f, and other pools you can buy are very expensive or are not usable for therapy needs.
Solution: Do research. Design a 6'x 8' therapy pool 3-4' deep, maintain water at 85-86 degreesF.
Develope other assistive devices that fill a need and really work for physically challenged people.
Start a non-profit organization, organize a wheelchair race to raise funds to research and develop products so others can benefit, too.
Rapid Transit designs assistive devices from the user's perspective.
